At Learning Connection, we provide Orton–Gillingham Literacy tutoring for children with reading and spelling challenges, and Executive Function Coaching to help kids and teens build focus, organization and confidence at school and beyond.

We specialize in supporting children with diverse learning needs, including Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, and other neurodiverse profiles. Each session is personalized to your child’s unique strengths and challenges — helping them grow in confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our Orton-Gillingham (OG) Literacy sessions provide specialized, individual literacy support using a proven, evidence-based and multi-sensory approach to structured literacy. All sessions are provided by an educator with 20+ years of experience.

Our Executive Functioning (EF) for Kids sessions are designed for students age 6 - 12 who would benefit from learning how to manage their attention, emotions and friendships. We also offer Executive Functioning (EF) Coaching for teens who need extra support with planning & organization, task initiation, attention control and social relationships.

FAQs

  • Yes, we provide a free 15-minute introductory consultation to assess the needs of your child and discuss our approach. Fill out our booking form here and we’ll schedule your session.

  • North Vancouver and Sea to Sky corridor including Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.

  • Not nearby? No problem! Our online sessions make it easy to connect from anywhere, so your child can get the same caring, personalized support—no matter where you are.

  • Individualized, no commitment to a set number of sessions or weeks, 24-hour cancellation policy applies.

  • During our first phone consultation, we will discuss your child’s learning including their strengths and challenges. We will discuss your child’s experience at school, their report cards and previous assessments, and what led you to Learning Connection. We will also discuss the format of the lessons, the schedule and anything else related to your child's learning. If more time is needed, we can book an additional time to continue the conversation.
